Sunday @ Pacific City?

I am planning on hitting Depot Bay with a handful of others (my first rodeo) and if I read the forecast right, Sunday looks great at Pacific City.  Is anyone planning on making at trip out of PC on Sunday?

Looks a bit unstable to me at this point, but trending in the right direction.

PC will be fishing well this fri sat and Sunday.  I fished today and the conditions were good. There's a bit of a sandbar working in the cove at lower tides, but totally doable. Fishing has been fantastic lately!

Looks like the trend it definitely clearing up to be a nice weekend launch.  Yesterday it was really really low on prediction probability.
Getting better and better by the hour.

Why wait based on the tides?

FYI - Crabbing is really poor right now, fished on the dory today.  5 big pots, 3 hour soak for about 6 crab total.  Cod fishing remains white hot.

I am in for Sunday as well. I plan on being there around 7 am.

Thanks for the insight about crabbing. I was wondering whether I should bring a pot but now decided to leave it at home.
Some lings are needed to wash away the bad taste of saltwater fishing that I have in my mouth after I got skunked yesterday fishing from the beach (Barview) for some "quick dinners" of surf perch
This was after adding a last steelhead to the list during my final steelhead trip of this winter, so still a good day.

You were at Barview and didn’t stop to say hi and show off your steelhead  ... remind we to smack ya next time we fish together cuz I’ll forget before tomorrow.

A quick report.
About 6 or 7 kayaks on the water. Most of them (must have) fished far out as I saw them launch and that's it.
The conditions were not as great as i thought they would be. The surf was high enough to make it difficult to land after fishing and wind and current pushed you north. The bite was pretty good today though. I started ocean fishing last year and had not yet caught a lingcod, only rock fish and cabezon. So i was very thrilled to catch my fist ling today. I also caught number two through seven (including a double hook up). I kept the first two (around 24 inches)......of course I started catching bigger ones after that.... But hey, fish in the freezer so i am not complaining. In addition I landed one cabbie and one rockfish. Great day on the water!! Can't wait for more PC days!
