Hello everybody. I am new to kayaking except for a couple of small lakes. I have a 10 foot sit in and have already decided to go bigger and different propulsion. I am just this side of 60 and have some nerve damage on the left side, so paddling doesn't last long. So I will be back to ask for recommendations when I get close to deciding. I fish alot and want to infuse kayak fishing into my addiction.  ;D

Get one with a good rudder so you can steer with foot controls while getting towed if you keep fishing for that size, lol.  Nice fish.  Gig Harbor Sports will let you take Hobies for a test paddle in the bay.  Bring a light rod and jig for flounder to get an idea of what fishing in a kayak feels like...Nice people.

I second Gig Harbor Fly Shop.  Great place to try out a Hobie.  The Northwest Paddling Festival is going on Monther's Day Weekend on Lake Sammamish.  For $6 you can try out every type of kayak and SUP over two days.  www.northwestpaddlingfestival.com

damn, nice fish!  GH Fly Shop will let you try out a Native Propel at the same time as a Hobie...  And they have a beer license now too!  Just sayin'...    ;D
