Depoe Bay 5/18

I will be launching out of Depoe Bay probably around 0700, hopefully meet up with some other yak fanatics to bonk some big ling.

Wish I could join, but I gotta work tomorrow.  Should be a nice day.  Like I mentioned in my PM, yesterday's afternoon bite was pretty tough.  Even the charter boats were having trouble finding limits.  I think the 58-59 degree water and north-to-south current were hampering the bite.  That being said, I did come across a couple big schools of black rockfish, so you shouldn't have a problem catching those.  I could only muster three lingcod for three hours' effort, but one of them clocked in at 36 inches and 17 pounds.  Hopefully the bite is better for you tomorrow!
