Good morning everyone,

I have been wanting to get into kayak fishing for a very long time.   I am finally taking the plunge, well I hope not to many plunges!!  I am still searching for a used kayak.  I am 6'2" 235, I figured I will have to go at least 12' to get weight capacity and stability.  I will be mostly hitting the central coast area, Depoe Bay, and the 50 miles up and down the coast for shore launches.  There are so many places I have wanted to get to for years fishing from shore!!  I cant wait to explore these little touched areas.

This looks like a great bunch of guys here.  I am sure I will have a TON of questions as I get going down this new adventure.  I look forward to talking with you all and contributing as much as I can.

Have a GREAT day!
Lance

Best bet is to test ride before you buy, I have 3 ocean worthy boats and live in Garibaldi ( Tillamook bay) if I have an extra available and I’m fishing your welcome to try one out 2 Native propels
(foot peddles) and one Jackson Big Tuna tandem/solo paddle craft.

Welcome to the addiction and the madness I started with just one  >:D
