My family and I finally got back from 12 days back east.  We manged to polka at a polish wedding in Bad Axe, MI (the thumb area),  we were in Stowe, VT for the first snow of the season and we spent a few days with my parents in Upstate New York.

I hadn't been fishing with my Dad in over a year and my son Owen hadn't had the pleasure at all.  So we loaded my Dad's boat and headed down to the bay (off Lake Ontario) from some panfish action.  After a few dinks my son managed to reel in the first keeper, a nice 11.5" yellow perch.  Owen went home shortly afterwards for a nap while my Dad and I quickly rounded out the nights meal with another 20 or so perch in the 10" class.  At the end of the day, Owen's fish was still the largest of the bunch.
