Hey yakkers I hope you can help me. I am a buy it new kind of guy on my boats, but I have a new ride coming and I spent more than "she that says so" was happy with. So I am in a new pickle about buying used and have a few trailer questions because I am a general idiot on these things.

Okay here we go:
#1 if it says no title, no tag, just bill of sale can I legally tow it home and how hard is it to get a title in this state? In Oklahoma you had a short window to tow it from place of purchase and not get fined as long as all safety measures were present on the trailer.

#2 If I buy a used trailer should I fix it up before trying to get tagged or take it in as is?

#3 This is on a new trailer or one like the harbor freight ones. Can I legally extend the tongue say 4'?

Thanks in advance....

This link should answer your first two questions.

The document below answers the third, I think.
