Depoe bay

Hey folks waters look good this weekend. Anyone plan fishing this Sunday? Wondering if I could tag along.

Think you’ll have a hard time not seeing other kayakers there this Sunday. You’ll have a chance to follow folks out of the bay around sunrise. Channel 80 is the harbor master. Announce you’re a kayaker leaving or arriving.....and wait for the reply telling you to go ahead (on one of the two directions, I always forget which).

Other than that, a few folks will probably head pretty far offshore, but pull up a hundred or so yards northwest or southwest of the first red bouy and drop a line.

Sounds good I'm not exactly a fan of going out by myself yet. Especially after last weekend's conditions in PC. So it would definitely be nice to tag along with someone.

I'm going to hit Fogarty in the morning and head up towards the river mouth. Not sure of the plan yet for Sunday.

I will most likely be showing up later than most others on Sunday, maybe 9 or 10.
