Hi all,

Thought i would share a brief report.
I was on Galliano island for the Canada day weekend and managed to get in some fishing.
I fished the NW end of Galliano over a couple  tide changes with friends and managed to get several rockfish and undersize lings. The current was really running even at slack water so it was tough to fish effectively.  Both jigs and swimbaits were working. I didn't see any decent fish coming out while I was on the water.

It would be good to meet up with other  yakkers on the water in the lower mainland.

Thanks for the report. I've gotta get myself some swimbaits, guys seem to really like them. What are you fishing out of?

I was up past Telegraph for a family vacation over the long weekend but the weather kept me off the water and doing family stuff instead. I'm taking a week off later this month for a week-long trip to the west coast of VI. Hopefully I'll have something worth sharing after.
