Hi!  I've been here since Feb. '17.  Transplant from the Southeast US.  Fishin' is a lot different here for sure!

I fly fish and use conventional gear.  Here I like to target searun cutties, stocked rainbows, and just about anything else that swims.  Caught one pink from shore last year.  Picked up an inflatable kayak last year...Advanced Elements Straitedge Angler.  Pretty happy with it so far.  Seems like everyone has a hobie or pedals these days.

I'd like to connect with other folks in the Sound for Salmon.  Still new to the salt and don't feel super confident yet...so trying to expand my opportunities.

Any help/advice is appreciated.  Thanks!

Welcome! I'm from the Southeast, too (New Orleans). This forum is an awesome group of guys (and gals) who love our sport and are happy to share tips, especially on safety. I'm down state in Camas haven't fished Seattle much but there's a strong representation there.

Well, not everyone has a Hobie or pedals around here.  I sold my Hobie because they don't play well with fly lines, so keep that in mind as you get deeper into kayaking.
