Had a great time at the seminar.  Our ballardbrad and Dave Nguyen did a stellar job of introducing yak fishing and promoting retail goods.  The staff at OE were both helpful and friendly.  Maybe too helpful.  I'm now the happy (but poorer) owner a Super Nova Semi-Dry wetsuit,  and in the raffle I won a Kokatat camo hat!

I have 2 other observations.  The walk from the ferry dock was actually pleasant,  and Todd at OE was kind enough to give me some interesting tips for fishing at Neah Bay.

Tomorrow is the day for a trial run with my Trident 13.  However,  after viewing those gleaming new Hobies...I fear the dark side.

I should have mentioned that I had a nice chat with another NWKA member.   JasonM was also there.  It's possible that there were others attending,  but it's difficult  to identify  online associates.

Congrats on getting the Supernova suit! Like I mentioned in our chat, you'd likely have ended up with one eventually so that big discount probably made the decision easier.  ;D

Some prefer not to be identified.

Fish hard.

Good meeting you Kaz.  Enjoy the suit!

Thanks Brad.  It was great to meet everyone.  I'm very happy with the drysuit.  Without your FB post, I'd still be staring  at online retail ads.
