Anybody planning on fishing Pacific City on Monday?

The forecast looks great and I plan on going. Probably one of the last opportunities of the year to hit the ocean.

It would be nice not to be on the only one on the water though.

My backup-plan if conditions do not pan out as forecasted is Tillamook Bay (using the outgoing tide to get to south jetty, with low tide being at 9:13 am)

I fished PC today.  Bite was a little slow.  I caught lots more rockfish on the fly than on lures.  Ended up with about 15 rockfish, one small ling and one ling I kept about 30 inches.  Best rockfish bite for me was on the east side of the rock
The two best times to fish is when it’s raining and when it ain’t. -Patrick McManus

Being retired, they pay me when I go fishing, therefore I am kind of a professional fisherman.

I'm dying to go.  I have been out of commission the last couple months with a broken collarbone, but feeling really good now.  Thinking really hard about taking Monday off.

You're getting better at catching fish with the fly rod than spinning/casting tackle... that's a good problem to have!  :banjo:

Fly rods rule, Cap'n.
The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.
