Without talking to him I would bet the Alsea, he knows that river pretty well and it's in his neighborhood.

Hi,

This is Jill and Chad from the OPB segment, it is really cool that so many people enjoyed the show, it was a lot of fun to film.  We are definitely interested in both a follow up segment and the derby.  We will email the producer from OPB and see what he has to say.  We have gone kayak fishing off of PC before, when is the derby in 09?

Hey Ken how are you?  You are right, Chad caught the salmon on the Alsea.

Chad, Jill, Welcome to our site. This is a great group of people.

i think the plan right now is still going to be Cape Kiwanda next year, but that may change if our members and organizers find a spot they like better. i think the only problem we had this past year was that 3 days may not have been enough  ???

stay tuna'd. most of the more active memebrs are out for sturgeon this morning in the portland area.

Jill and Chad, welcome to our group. Your episode on OPB was instrumental to my getting involved in this sport. I have been fishing over 50 years, and my day at the PC tourny last year was my greatest fishing experience ever. Fishing from the kayak has brought new life to my oldest hobby. I sincerely want to thank both of you for motivating me to try something new!

Welcom guys (OK, guy and gal)

I look forward to fishing with you!  Let us know if OPB does a follow-up.

Welcome to the group. Glad to see you here.  Your OPB segment got me interested in kayak fishing as well, and I am enjoying it.  Beverly Beach lings are on my list.  Hope you enjoy the forum -

Hey Jill and Chad.  You may not know this, but you inadvertently (or advertently perhaps!) spawned a generation of Oregon kayak anglers.  I remember 2 springs ago I was working a demo for Alder Creek.  I had maybe 20 people come by throughout the day asking questions about kayak fishing.  Probably 15 out of the 20 started the conversation with "I saw this show on OPB ...".   It was to the point that I started saying "Let me guess, you saw this show on OPB ...".   ;D

Well Done!!!

Hi Jill and Chad welcome to NWKA. Guess I don't have to say "welcome to the cure" since you've been around the block a few times when it comes to yak fishing. But welcome to our community and glad to have you aboard.
