A while back I posted a note that someone near Albany had a sale on small aluminum trailers, and someone posted that they drive past the place getting to and from work.

I can't find that thread and I'm the guy who started it!

Does anyone remember that store?  Is it still in business?  I think it's time to get serious about a small kayak trailer.

And Shannon, it has to be a small trailer, practically teeny, so I can stand it up against a wall in the garage.  That's all the room I have for storing one.
The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

I suppose it was Harbor Freight. There is one in Albany. Someone on the board here worked there, too, I recall.

I tried to follow up on that last June but it was a one time deal apparently.  It was a self storage or something like that between Albany and Lebanon. Definitely not harbor freight.

That’s doable, the one I built for cjweinhe was only 4ft wide at the outside of the wheels. Got room to build  a pole barn?  ;)

Yeah, it wasn't Harbor Freight and I hoped it was some kind of dealership, not a one time thing.  Rats!  Thank you guys.  I guess I'm back in the hunt.   :(

I bet you did, and did a fine job of it, too, but in spite of warnings you still don't weld aluminum!   :banjo:

The place is Samurai Growers Supply.
Hwy 34 between Corvallis and I-5.
Trailers are made by these folks http://utilitysport.com/
They have the 4x7 dump and the 4x4ish rack and sport
$475.00
Appeared to be well built.
I'm now considering it, gain

Obligtory kayak fishing content.
Went out of Depoe Bay yesterday for the time it takes to get 3/4 of the way to the first can and back.
Wind came up earlier and stronger than forecast, small craft advisory flag way flying :o

These are a bit spendy, but it's an option.

Yeah they are but less expensive than Malone or Hobie or Yakima trailers.  Thank you for the suggestion.

I really appreciate you doing this for me.  I'll get my kids in Salem down there as soon as I can.

Obligatory Kayak Fishing Comment:

Yep, it's still Winter and the winds are fickle... but at least you got the kayak in the water.  That's more than I've been able to say in 2019.
