Homer spit to Halibut Cove

Has anyone here done this trip in their kayak? I’m thinking about throwing some camping gear on my PA12 and doing an overnighter later this month if weather cooperates.

I have not but it sounds like a pretty good adventure.

I was across in Halibut cove one year in my power boat, and escorted a group of inflatable and kayakers back across K-bay as the weather steadily got worse.   I might have been more nervous than they were.   

Do-able, for sure, but watch that weather carefully.   It was a LOOOOONG return journey with weather against you.
