Planning on launching behind the fish cleaning station this Tuesday. Low slack is around 8:30am so I will try and be there around 6:30am to start setting up.  Just planning on a quick limit of blacks or greenling and lings hopefully if they're feeling hungry. May or may not drop a pot or two off and hope for some crab too.

We are a green light for an early morning launch behind the fish cleaning station in Garibaldi in the lot around 0630 likely off the water between 1000-1100 should be an awesome day to fish.

Ok suspense over, it was a great day to be kayak fishing the bay, that’s for sure, nice calm slow peddle our, dropped 4 traps staggered off the south wall and started to drift the walk. I got the first one, a nice plump 12 inch bay black rock, followed by 4 more blacks for my limit. Was 10:30 ish for my limit. T Coastal still had a fish to land so started for the crab pots. After I got the first one up to the kayak it was so stuffed a couldn’t get it over the gunwale for fear of flipping in.... 9 keepers after “T” peddled over to steady my boat. 2 in the next one, 0 in the 3rd , and one more for a limit. Now my catch of the day! Best for last was a nice solid 18 inches..... of cold hard steel, guess someone had to cut there line from there angle, sitting on top of it close to the rocks it popped right out.

Mojo isn't telling any fish stories! Absolutely gorgeous day on the water, I would have had my limit around the same time if one hadn't bounced out of the boat after I brought it in  :(

I haven't seen almost a limit of crab in one pot out of T bay in a long time, if ever. Also the first time I have caught coppers out there, my first four fish were all copper Rockfish! One bounced back out of the boat to freedom, and then I caught that black to finish my trip. Trip will be faster next time, as I will not have to learn as much as I did this time out. Mojos a great teacher and really nice guy letting me use all his gear! Definitely a different feel with the pedal kayaks. Super fun day!
