I was tempted to try PC, but feared the traffic on the beach so I went to Depoe for the 2nd consecutive morning.

Launch around 6:15 again.  Today I picked up two keeper lings fairly quickly and it wasn't much longer before I had Five African American Rockfish also.

Headed out to deeper water to try and pick up some Sand Dabs.  No luck, but what the heck did I catch?  I sure didn't want to touch them.  Pulled up three of them between 100'-110'.  Whats a guy gotta do to get Sand Dabs in Depoe?

That's a staghorn sculpin. Try moving deeper until you hit the sand dabs, they're usually pretty thick past 160'.

What do you use for bait for the sand dabs?

How big do they get? I thought sand dabs were pretty small. At least the ones I see scuba diving.
