Hey all, what about a get together at the mouth of the John Day on the Columbia during Jan or Feb? This has been a decent trolling fishery for steelhead in the past. Haven't checked it out lately but have done ok there before. Just a thought, especially if the rivers are blown out and the freeway is open.

I'm pretty booked up thru Jan and Feb but throw out a date and I'll see if I can squeeze it in.

BTW, If you were thinking of entering the AOTY, I'd be happy to show you around some of my salty haunts for your Rockfish and Ling points.

Spot, Thanks for the offer of "salty haunts". I'd like to do that, but right now I'm chicken but working on it. Might be fun. Have to see.......Salm

There's comfort in numbers.  I'm sure we could put together a group for an outing.  Heck there are places we wouldn't even have to cross the surf.  Look over the Pacific City Tournament pictures for a little inspiration.
