Depoe Bay Coast Guard recovered a kayak today, but no kayaker.

It still has all the tags on it!  Looks totally new and unused.  Hope whoever owns it is safe.

How do you see that?  Not trying to stir the pot just curious  how you can tell.

Not a mark on it.  No salt stains.  That booklet on the left is attached with a plastic strip.  It looks unused and could have come off a boat as one possible explanation.

I would expect a rental boat to have identification on it.
