Hello everyone,

Please to be here and thank you for the add. Saltwater fishing has always been my passion when I was younger.
Now I see we can fish from a kayak is even better. Hope to see you on the water.

Hello, Ragnar.  Yes, folks can - and do - catch fish from a kayak.  So with your interest in learning more, you've come to the right spot.  Welcome to the NWKA Forum.

I see you're in California.  Check out our "cousin" forum, Northern California Kayak Anglers, too. (http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/)

The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

Hello, Just bought a 2020 Oldtown Predator Pdl and will have lots of time to use it this winter. Hoping to get it to the Washington/Oregon coast for some bottom fishing or maybe even Squidding if I can find some people willing to let me join in. I mostly fish walleye,Burbot and Salmon east of the mountains but want to hit the coast this winter.

Welcome to you as well as ragnar, if you click on the word introduce yourself up top you can start a new thread for yourself and give us a little more info about yourself, where you live and usually  fish. I live in Tillamook so I’m fairly familiar with the area fisherie, unfortunately with arthritis in my hip I’m not going to be doing much fishing in the cold. Biggest thing you guys will find here SAFETY FIRST fish way later. Remember no fish is worth your life! Stay safe this winter while fishing so I can introduce you guys to crabbing and fishing Tillamook bay next year when it warms up a little.
