Hello all, my name is Wade and excited to be able to get into kayak fishing. I live in the Salem area and fish mostly with my brother who will likely be joining here shortly! Looking forward to chasing fish from the new-to-me hobie outback.

Welcome to NWKA.  We have more than a few members in your area, and you might see my kids out fishing every so often.
The fish bite twice a day - just before we get here and right after we leave.

So far it has been mostly salmon and steelhead but that is mostly by nature of what we know. Hoping to be able to broaden our fishing horizons  :). Likely going to fish more lakes with the kayak and interested in potentially doing some ocean bottom fish as we learn.
