Hey y'all,

My name is Nick and I recently moved to northwest Alaska to teach. Until I can get my truck up to my area (it is currently in storage in Anchorage) I plan to spend the entirety of my summers in southcentral Alaska fishing every minute I possibly can. I've fished my entire life from shore and I just recently got into kayak fishing - it is the bees knees! After being inspired by avid internet searching (youtube, Rudy Tsukada's website, alaska outdoors) I found this gem of a forum. I'm hoping to primarily fish saltwater for kings, silvers, and halibut, as well as lakes for rainbows, char, and lakers. I have a lot of winter time to start tying leaders and learning new rigs!

Looking forward to being a part of this forum!
