I'm seeing that the Makah tribe has closed their lands to outsiders. https://makah.com/

Does this mean I can't launch from Hobuck or Neah at all? Can you even drive through the area? Wondering if anyone's been in that area recently. I've taken a week off work at the end of the month and I was hoping to explore the area.

Can anyone suggest some similar alternatives if it is off-limits?

Thanks
-Eli

AFAIK totally off limits, with a checkpoint on the highway in.

You could try closer to Seiku for instance

There's at least a half dozen places to launch between Sekiu and the reservation.

You can launch (and sleep) pretty much anywhere that isn't marked otherwise.

Just make sure you know where you are in relation to the area 4/5 border and know what's open the day you go.

Have fun.
