Well, damn Gina!
A friend of mine with some Insider trading info says there is less than 300 Coho left in the quota, not enough for another day. He says the official notification will probably come out tomorrow.

Bummer! I was hoping to get out Friday for them... You're talking about the Cape Falcon to Humbug quota right?

Folks interested in still getting coho, the columbia around buoy 10 was pretty hot (both with fish and temp) Sunday. The limit for the month is up to two coho per day (chinook were back open the 5th and 6th too). Not sure if that was initiated by the WA or OR side but I was happy to hear it. Here is the WDFW release:

https://wdfw.wa.gov/sites/default/files/2020-09/200903_actionnotice_final.pdf

My girlfriend and I got 2 solid coho and a chinook yesterday, we would have had two limits but we lost like 4 fish  :-\  We're still figuring out how to deal with the barbless hooks. Pink ~6 inch spinner and a pink triangle flasher with 10oz of lead was working. Fish really turned on when the incoming tide hit around 1 kt, it was like somebody flipped a switch.  I fished the 3rd, 5th and 6th and it was like that every day. Caught a really solid wild chinook on the 3rd but they were closed then... pics attachted for proof. We fished from the WA side.
