Anyone else have Monday off an want to hit up Tilly assuming the weather window holds (which is probably a really big if)? Tide timing isn't ideal, but the swing is really small so thinking may not be the worst.  Thinking drop some crab pots and troll for salmon for a couple hours.

Wish I could join. The rain hopefully brings in some of the big boys from the ocean. Looking forward to a report

Weather window still looking good. Planning on launching by 730 at Garibaldi. Going to drop some pots in crab harbor and then  for some chinook.

Was a good but not great day. Trolled the incoming down to crab harbor and dropped pots then Trolled the main channel through the rest of the incoming. No adult salmon but unfortunately couldn't keep the juveniles off which was annoying. They kept slashing at my lures and got fouled.  Picked up a good sized copper rockfish on the troll on the Garibaldi side of the channel near the green bouy. That was a bit surprising and too bad to have to throw back.  Had what felt like a salmon drive by but was off super quick

Picked up the pots around high slack. Lots of red Rock and undersized dungies and only one keeper. Didn't like the duck carcass in one pot so won't try that again.   Trolled the outgoing up to the launch. Even though it was a really soft swing current was still pretty ripping near where I dropped my pots.  Picked up an unclippee coho in front of the coast guard boat house. Put up a great fight but had to go back.  Pretty much swam to the boat then exploded for a run or two. Some jumps and some missed net attempts on my part.

Water clarity was getting poor with the outgoing.

Weather was great though with very little wind and sun in the afternoon.  Good day on the water and way better than work.
