I’ve been lurkin for a while. Lots of real good information on here. Been boating, fishing and hunting my whole life, starting in my pops old aluminum canoe. Flipped that sucker a number of times, but always lived to tell the story.

Over the past year I’ve been looking into using a kayak to fish Puget sound. It’s a different beast than I’m used to so the information here has proved valuable. Thanks to all of you who help us newbies!

I’m somewhat new to the area so I can’t help much with offering local knowledge, but I am a metalworker and general crafts person. I’ve done some cutting, plastic welding and machining of parts for my kayak and would be happy to help folks out with projects.

Welcome to the NWKA forum Lester.  As a former "lurker" I joined because of all the great people sharing great information.  The search feature is great to get a jumpstart on things you might be curious about now that you are registered.
