Final modification. I hope to test it next week. I should be able to switch back and forth in a few minutes.
The stainless cap screws with nylock nuts are the finishing touch.

I tested my modification out in the sound yesterday. It worked great.
It would be an easy add on and be cheaper than buying a Hobie sailing rudder.
The quick change issue is why I made it.

I have used Kydex and Holstex for a bunch of things. It's fun to work with. You can mold it to what ever you want. Add heat and a riveter and you are good to go.
