Is anyone else looking at Friday for getting out for a pre-tourney trip? Conditions are changing but seem to be improving. I am planning on heading out of DB Friday, but as of now, it looks like conditions are improving later in the am. Thinking of launching 8-9 instead of O'dark 30.

Anyone else planning on heading out. Will adjust timing to get out with a group.

I am not sure yet. We have our room starting Thursday, but I may commute to the valley for a day of overtime on Friday. If conditions continue to improve I will probably be fishing.....

But after thinking about it, if I do fish on Friday I will probably stay away from my ORC spots. I will probably launch from Fogarty and fish deep. Troll for salmon both ways. Probably even try looking for some fatty flatties as someday I will cat h one from the Tupperware.

Since I don't have "spots" really anywhere, I am now looking at pretty good conditions at PC later in the am Friday and may go for a triple of salmon, bottom fish and crabs. Want to make sure to get on in on the good conditions. I am not an expert, but Saturday looks like it could be a bit bumpy :)

The forecast I’m looking at is almost identical Friday and Saturday. The bigger swells just move from primary to secondary Friday then back to primary on Saturday.  As long as we can keep the bar unrestricted we should be able to catch some fish.

Being retired, they pay me when I go fishing, therefore I am kind of a professional fisherman.

Be rolling into Elk Bend on Thursday, maybe fish on Friday. I'll take a stroll around camp Thursday evening to se what's up.

We'll (Magic Mike, Justin, Hoku, Jim D, Dan F) be at Chinook bend from this evening and planning to fish everyday if possible. See you there Paul.

Don't forget to hit the ATM and drain your bank for the raffle on your way over.   See you guys on Thursday!

I am moving my practice round to PC Friday just cuz I love the beach launch, the easy crabbing, and the salmon reports. Besides, I don't have any "spots" that I need to practice on.  Will be rolling into Chinook bend in the afternoon and hopefully eating what I catch.

Conditions looking up!!
