Hello everyone,

I'm new to kayaking and recently just purchased my first. It is a Hobie PA12 and I have had it out a few times already trolling for salmon, and fishing for bass. It is already a lot of fun with a steep learning curve, but the ultimate goal is to eventually get out on the ocean, do some crabbing, waterfowl hunt from it, explore more rivers, and essentially open up more opportunities to fish while getting away from the crowds. I've been fishing and hunting my entire life, and enjoy the outdoors when time allows.

When I'm not hunting or fishing, you can find me hanging out with my wife and dog, at church, playing games with friends and family, or out on the golf course. I also work full time as an Engineering Technician, serve on the Board of Directors for a local non profit where I am also the Golf Tournament Director, and I run a YouTube channel with my brother.

Looking forward to meeting new friends and learning from whomever I can!

Welcome to the NWKA.  Great place to help with your "steep learning curve".  Be sure to use the search feature as lots of information shared by experienced members.
