That wind from the south

Started looking at Depoe and PC for Wednesday.
A week ago, yeah I know, it was from the west and under 10 mph
Now it's shifted to from the south and gusts to 13-15 by 0900.
So much for that.

The forecast has done that a couple times in recent weeks.
I'm really itching to get on the alt myself, got a bunch of killer new ling lures.
Pretty sure I'll hit Depoe, as soon as conditions allow.

In the last four years, I've been able to capitalize on two January weather windows out of Depoe. Both times, the lingcod bite was okay...but the cabezon bite was crazy good. Anyone else experience that?

My experience with Depoe is limited to the last year or so, but I got my two lings (med size) the three times I went out last winter, in addition to a number of released cabs.
