Reel service and repair

Does anyone here do it, or can you recommend someone please?
I have an Okuma Convector and a couple spinning reels that could use some help...

We have her business cards on hand at the Hillsboro Sportsman’s Warehouse.
I haven’t done any business with her yet, but I have a couple reels that I’m planning to have her take a look at.

I work on conventional style reels, but not spinning reels.  Let me know if you need some help.  I'm in your neighborhood (unless you're out fishing!)

Alantani.com is an exceptional resource for reel repair.

I was successful to repair SD2OR's convector.  The drive pinion was bent, spool bearings corroded and the dog was asssembled incorrectly.  It's reassembled with the same parts and will probably be good enough for a few more years.

There is an older guy in Bandon that does reel repair named Karman on Ohio ave NE. Let me know if you want more info.
When I  lived in San Jose Alan Tani helped be rebuild a Penn 320 gti with 6/0 drag washers and Shimano grease. My next Cabo trip I caught a 266lb blue marlin, 2hrs and 20 min, 30lb test. If not for Alan I would have never caught that fish, he knows his sh!t.  We did remove the level wind.

It was abused before I owned it, and I have certainly used it quite thoroughly and roughly, myself.
It will be great to get a few more seasons out of it!

I will be getting in touch with them about a few spinning reels.

Our own kayak fishing buddy Justin was out of the reel repair game for a while, but from his facebook posts it appears he's doing it again. He's in Coos Bay.
