1 December day out on the lake
no kayak this time of the year. heres a couple pics.
Damage 20 Salmon 1 Rainbow.
we used florecent green jigs tip with some homade cure salmon roe. Dropped it down to the bottom and jigged 3 to 5inches off the bottom. 1 hour from drilling the holes we were leaving with are limit . Its was A Great Day ;D

Very nice Steve,

I used to do a lot of ice fishing in upstate New York when I was a kid.  I still try and make it back a couple times a year and every now and then manage to get out ice fishing (mostly pike and panfish).

BTW, what kind of salmon are those, kokanee?

Yes they are the kokanee (landlocked salmon)
hope you guys enjoyed the pics. And yes Ice fishing is alot of fun as long as the fishi are biting. And if not ride the sleds hard or bring a rifle and do some hunting more to come.
