Hey all -

Pics would be great. I bought a T13 and would like to see where most guys put their rod holders before I go drilling holes in the plastic.
Thanks

Drilling holes is what this is all about...well, that and fishing too.

I mount mine using "ram mounts"  works awesome.  I will go out in the shop and take a pic.  I would not mount my primary rod holder any other way.

I just did this to my T13.  Works great!

Here's my one and only rod holder for the front half of the boat. It allows me infinite variations for placement.  Either side of the yak for trolling etc. up, down, back etc etc etc.

The other ram mount in front of the rod holder is for the depth finder (which is on the same size ram mount as the rod holder) this too allows me to move the depth finder where ever I want it.

I do something similar to PP.  And that RAM to scotty base provides a nice place to hang lures as it has extra holes in it that hooks hang well off of.

I've grown quite fond of the RAM mount base in combination with a scotty power lock.  The RAM mount gives a little when you get a big strike and the power lock keeps the rod (if you use the lock!) from falling into the big blue without needing to use leashes.

Just be carefull how close to center you mount that rod holder.

You don't want your rod getting in the way of your stroke and you don't want too much stuff in your way if you fall out and have to get back in from deep water.

And you don't want a nut buster in the way when you slide forward to access the front hatch.
