so i guess the question is;, Does Drano lake for spingers sound like a repeat event this year? i wont be around for it, wish you guys luck, but since it's just a month or so away, thot i'd bring up the subject

If it's anything like it was last year the spots below it will be a lot better. I hope I get a chance to fish w/ steelheader.. that guy's got insane springer mojo!!!

Drano Lake is the small impoundment formed by the mouth of the Little White Salmon River [ i think it's the right one] and the backup of Bonneville Dam.. about 10 miles or so past Stevenson WA in the Columbia Gorge..it can get a bit crowded , and is (in)famous for it's oval track style trolling patterns with numerous boats in line emulating a dirt track race...

it's also right in the face of a hatchery and you have to be mindful of the boundaries.. doesn't mean there arent fish, just some challenges is all.
