Spent a beautiful sunny day on the upper portion of Lake Roosevelt near Kettle Falls, WA.

The fishing was amazing!

The trout are hungry and the water temps are cooperating near inlets and on the shelves near shore.  The day was extremely productive with lures and and spinners.  I landed at least 8 decent size planters and I hooked one 18" plus Brown trout and one 26" holdover rainbow.  The walleye are starting to to get active and I picked up a couple of small guys with tube jigs.  Here is the best part...I only saw one two boats the entire day and one guy in a row boat.  If anyone whats to venture over to the "forgoton corner" of Washington and do some great fishing and some scenic paddling let me know.
