Hit Lake Cassidy after work today.  Quite a few boats on the water as well as a few fishing from the bank near the launch.  I managed a couple of 10" crappie and a few small native rainbows which I released.  Over heard talk at the launch of a few stockers being taken.  Forgot my camera so no good pics today, will remember next time out.

Nice job on the crappies, YS! I used to take my sons to Cassidy to catch Crappies. Good to hear they're still there. Also used to C&R jumbo LM's there this time of year.

Native rainbows ??? In Lake Cassidy? Is there a spawning stream flowing into Cassidy that I'm unaware of?

There is a stream that feeds into the south end of the lake, I can't recall the name.  Next time out I'll snap some pictures.  They are a beautiful deep dark colored rainbow, maybe not native maybe it has something to do with water color??? I don't know.
