Any of you OK reps out there have any intel on whether they ever plan to mold the T-13 in Lime Green?
I'm sure it wouldn't take long for one to be in my arsenal.  ;D

There is a lime green T13, just not in the angler version ...  traditionally OK has only offered a limited subset of colors for the angler versions, not sure why.

That is goofy.  The angler version is just a few more holes cut and parts fitted to the same base as the non angler versions.  I don't get it, either.

Actually pretty easy to turn it into an "angler". Probably a little nicer as you can pimp it out exactly how you want. Just a little Cuttin' & Drillin'. ;)

After having a yak that was a pretty dark green I probably wouldn't get one again. Only reason is visibility. On the sound I'd had a few people not notice me. Not a fun situation. In rivers I thought it'd be ok but the guys in the jet sleds are even worse than regular PBr's. Since bright yaks look like dog chew toys it's not surprising that we want something that looks cooler. But in the end it's got a great use.

[am not an OK rep] asked the same questions when at ferndale last month.. looks i got seemed more shocked than annoyed ..like; "You want bright colors on your fish yaks?!" not; " you've got to be kidding right?".  explained about the visibility problem.. the lights went on... but we'll have to wait and see... that was only one marketing person in a sea of ......gee, polepole, how many marketing folks does OK have??

I don't think the thought of a making a fishing kayak in a visible color is new to Ocean Kayak.  Right now, the angler edition Tridents generally come in four colors (yellow, mango, olive, and sand).  Two of those four colors (yellow and mango) are already bright.

actually i think the point is, ; why restrict x color to y model /edition.. open up the access to all colors for all models.. people are craving variety...

I'd guess it's most likely a budgeting concern. There's a lot of us out there but not as much as recreational SOT kayakers.

They should just include the extra parts that make it an Angler model in a bag and throw it in the front hatch.  I could care less about the extra graphic on the side.  I'd say just about all of us yak anglers do some drill'n & cutt'n at some point anyway.  This would cut down on cost and open up our color and model options and save them some $$ as well.

I wish they'd make a hunter orange camo yak... visible and cool looking.
