That's the biggest copper I've seen! everything I've seen has been <12/13"

Black rf - Nor Cal...

Yellow Eye (caught and released) at Stillwater North, Nor Cal

22.75" Black.  My best fish so far:

Just caught the best rockfish from my kayak so far: 21 inch black rockfish. But that's only part of the story, the really fun part is that it was a double-hookup with a 18-inch fish, and all this on 14lb leader! (I like fishing light.)

No pix from the boat this time, unfortunately, and I forgot to do a proper measure photo, so it's unofficial. The 21" weighed 4 lbs. 8 oz. after bleeding out.

In the stringer pic the top two were my double, and the other pic is just a better view of the 21" before it got filleted. Good times!
