Salmon Intercept--early July

I was hoping to find some yakkers that would want to fish Mukkaw bay and stay at Hobuck beach resort...

I've been planning on hitting up that part of the coast but timing is gonna difficult. I will definitely PM you when I'm heading out that way.

Zee,  It's really important to watch the weather and tides out there before you make the drive... With all this heat we have had it typically will be foggy right on the coast... Here's a link to some live cams http://www.northolympic.com/areawebcams/
The La Push Cam and the Forks cam give you an idea to the conditions around Mukkaw bay..
In the OP.......Freshwater bay is a great place to fish(Elwha Kings)  as well as Sekiu., There is an easy beach launch in Sekiu near the Old Coastguard station (Slip Point)...Now is the time too and you don't have to mess with waves just wind in Sekiu....

Is this launch at the point/breakwater in the center of Clallam bay?

No,  It's a beach launch not a boat launch on the east side of the bay near the old light house.. There is parking and you walk toward the water thru sand at the west end of Salt Air st.  Google map Sekiu and look to the east end of the bay ... The old lighthouse is the last building on the east side of Clallam bay... There is a big eddie near the slip point buoy that will take you west on an incoming tide so stay prepared..... You think you should be going east on the incoming but the eddie takes you west....Good luck
