Well I just got back from a "Tour of Oregon" that included a trip on the salt and a few days at Diamond Lake.  I had high hopes for Diamond Lake producing a lunker trout and a major AOTY upgrade, but it didn't happen.  I would classify the fishing as slow as the whole family only managed to land six fish in the two days of fishing.  I think we were a little late in the year cause the water was darn near as warm as bath water.  With the family there I didn't get to fish to serious and the wind was blowing constantly.  I really tried hardest trolling but it only produced two fish so I finally broke down and anchored with the crowds and threw out Powerbait ::) and we caught a few.  I hate fishing like that but the people doing it were catching fish in a little better numbers.  At least this trip I managed to catch the biggest, and it was a decent upgrade.

Glad your tour of Oregon paid off.  18.25 is a pretty nice trout.  Nice Lincod you pickup too!

Good stuff.  And you gotta love the fish cleaning stations at Diamond Lake.

By the looks of your picture, I'd venture to guess that is a mid to late 90's Ford truck, and that you have a truck camper that's no more than a 9'.   Am I close?

What's with the red eye in the 1st pic?  Is that one of those Trout/Smallie hybrids?   :D

I tried to warn him that messing with that minnow plug he could get hurt but he just wouldn't listen and sure enough he got himself hooked right in the eye ;D
