i'll be on the water for the evening bite (i hope) good tide to jig in the bait balls around the point.  anyone game?  i have yet to meet anyone on the water for some fishing and would like to.  i plan to launch at Owens, troll out to the point with a hoochie or coho killer, jig a while and troll back just before dark.

I'd love to join you on this but I'll be working at 8:00pm on Thursday so I'll be out in the a.m. instead @ Browns Point. My work schedule is anything but consistant though so one of these times we'll get out and fish..........Chris

big nevermind on that trip.  highs around 100° on thursday don't sound too appetizing for me.  i'm going to push it back to saturday about 5pm in Commencement bay.  gonna launch at Thea park at the west end of Dock St. and hit the mouth of the Puyallup to see what i can come up with.

i decided i didn't want to risk heat exhaustion thurs.  it's supposed to be about 10-15° cooler on saturday plus that's the opener of Commencement bay.  should be some fish in there.  kings and pinks and there's a great spot to launch and it's a short paddle to good fishing waters.  i should be able to launch right at slack tide and the tide change is a small one.  only about 3 feet. should make for good conditions.
