If you can't get out, at least you can watch.

Starting in January, Jim Sammons from So Cal, will be hosting a kayak fishing show on WFN.TV http://www.wfn.tv/ (World Fishing Network). This is in HD on Dish Network channel 349.

Here's a link to his post on NCKA....http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php/topic,19182.msg192871/topicseen.html#new

How do like Verizon FIOS?  They just fibered my neighborhood and I am getting mail solicitations weekly, begging me to switch from Comcast.

Unfortunately, we don't have the DSL or cable option. We've been told we're "exactly 2.23 miles beyond the service area." Luckily for us, DISH network carries it.

There are a few shows that I'll look at if I have some free time, mostly The New Fly Fisherman, but a lot of it is big money, big boat hero shots of sailfish or the roid-rage bass fishing attitudes. Just not my style. I can't wait to record every episode of the kayak fishing show... :D

DAMN!!!! Dish Network must have been trolling for $$$ because they just made WFN a subscription channel. I'll have to call and see what the cost is. Most of the shows are not worth the time but there are a few really good ones in the mix.
