While visiting family in Anacortes a few weeks ago, crabbing off my yak near Washington Park in 80 degree weather I hear this very loud pppssshhh sound. Out of nowhere an Orca breaks the surface about 20 yards off my port beam. Sooo cool!!! A few seconds later there's Orcas all around me  :o. I think I counted 12 all together. What an experience!!!!

Has anyone tried doing any fishing around Anacortes or La Conner?

Is it a Thur. through Sun. fishery only?

Thanks.
