Anyone heading to the Moutcha Bay Tournament?

Hi,

The wife gave me permission to head up to Moutcha Bay for the Tournament so I was wondering if anyone from the site is heading up as well?  Based on some previous posts it seems that there was some uncertainty that the fishery would open so people have made alternate plans.

I'm making plans for it right now.

A group of 3 (one car) or 4 of us (two cars - we could carpool) will be headed up from Seattle.

Can't decide which ferry to make a reservation on... what is your schedule like?

Hi Matt,

I was planning on leaving early Friday Morning and returning either Monday or possibly Tuesday.  I am still uncertain if I will do the 8:30 AM from Anacortes to Sydney or opt for one of the Tsawwassen to Nanaimo ferries.  I have a van so I could accomodate 1 or 2 other folks if there are some additional yak racks available.

No worrries, just thought I would offer as I am driving up solo due to a friend backing out of the trip last week.  I will be camping out in the Silver VW Van.  See you at Moutcha and have a safe trip.
