Pro Angler offshore?

Damn you Yak Attack... I've been trying to talk myself out of picking one of these up as a second yak in the future and you had to post this.

But consider that I AM a newbie, so this little experiment was EXTRA magical for me. But on the flip side of the coin, I have been reading a lot of reviews from experienced yakkers, who describe the PA as a "dreamboat", etc...

I realize that ANY yak is going to have it's pluses and minuses, but this boat/yak definitely made me decide that the pluses far outweigh the minuses. One of the minuses that has been pestering me, is the fact that I would have to paddle all the way in, if the Mirage drive were to fail (in offshore situation). Not a very fun time, I imagine (and maybe not even POSSIBLE, depending on wind/current, etc...), But... That is why I am never going to go on the salt without at least one other person with me. That way, I might be able to persuade them to test out their towing abilities.  Of course, I'd offer to buy them dinner, or just flip 'em a $20 (or whatever it takes...lol), for what would likely be a hour or less worth of work. With me helping to paddle, of course.

One thing's for sure... This boat was definitely the most fun out of the three I tried (actually four if you count the Outfitter that I co-peddled with my friend).

Yes, I'm a newb, but that's my opinion. And I can see myself eventually outfitting this bad boy with all kinds of goodies, but that will be done over a space of time, seeing as how I am not a Rockefeller. In fact, I need to put together some more cash, just to buy it, since i was planning on the Revo. But it will be very soon.
