If one wanted to purchase a new Hobie, which dealer would you recommend?

Depends on where you live.  In Oregon we only have a few.  "Next Adventure" is the only option in the Portland metro area that I am aware of.  Check the Hobie site for a "dealer locator near you" if all else fails
