I've got a hall pass from the wife for the weekend, and I'm going to do some fishing.  Of course, the weather looks crappy, but oh well.

Anyone have any plans for the weekend?  I'm debating an overnight to give Davis Lake a try for big trout and bass.  Or heading west to Tillamook Bay to try for springers in tidewater (or fly fish for coastal cutthroat if the springers won't cooperate).  Or save $$ on gas and explore the Columbia a bit more....

Damn! I've commitments both days, but all of the locations you mentioned sound good. Maybe another weekend...

I just got clearance for Sunday. Tillamook? Astoria? The estuary for Sturgeon?  >:D  ;D
I'm easy and flexible as long as I'm back by 4 pm (in PDX)

Actually, WA is atttractive as well as its free fishing weekend. Perhaps a quick trip to Lacamas? or,,,,
I'll PM you my cell
