Whoa... what's up with the OR license pricing this year? $33 for a resident annual angler license and $106.25 (up from $61.50) for a non-resident??

Yeah, $73 and four slips of paper this year to fish, crab, and paddle, x 2 for my wife. Think I'm going to go ahead and hold off on another $17 and more friggin' slips of paper, thanks anyhow. I know the state's broke and all, but still.....

I'm gunna suck it up this year and pay to play.  And play I will!

Sure, it's gunna cost me an arm and a leg with all the hikes in fees, new permit for invasive species, Hagg Lake year permit, yadda yadda.....  All in hopes that ODFW feels the huge decrease in numbers from out of stater's and puts the fees back into perspective next year.  Wishful thinking, I know.. ::)

I really wish there was a way to get several neighboring states to work out a deal where you can buy a multistate license and proceeds gets split 50/50, 33/33/33, or 25/25/25/25 depending on how many states the license is printed to cover.  This would bring more money to each state as folks would be more apt to purchase this, and travel to cover more water.  But we all know that won't ever happen.  :-\
As it works now, it just isn't worth it to fish out of your home state, other than for big ticket trips like Alaska or something similar.

The last CA. sport fish license I got (At last years ISE show) ran me $57.  $38 for license, $11 for the second rod stamp, and later on I got the bay/delta stamp at $8.

You're telling me.  If all goes right, I'll be fishing Alaska, BC, WA, OR, CA, and Baja this year.
