After reading how much everyone likes the Ram products I'm thinking of purchasing the following combo setup. Do you all know if this is the best fit for my new and soon to be installed Cuda350??? Nobody's home at RAM to answer my questions. Thanks!

I use it on mine. I don't have the 350 specific mount though. The one you have pictured does work though. I have a thread in the drilling/cutting forum

I have the same mount for my EC 350. You can get it here too. http://kayakfishinggear.com/ram-b-107-1fishfindermountforhumminbirdandeagleunits.aspx

What kayak are you mounting it on?

I had the same boat. I mounted mine above the front flush rod holder on the right side. If you order the mount from Hook1, Karen will swap out the round base for this one, if you need it.  http://kayakfishinggear.com/ramcompositediamondmountwith1ballmount.aspx

I did it this way and worked out real well.

C-Legs... How is the support from the Diamond shaped base bracket? Having only 2 screws, I'm just wondering if it still mounts rock solid considering I maybe pushing the buttons on the FF/GPS often? Did you use both screws and nuts or just self taping screws to install? I think I will be installing mine in the left tray, just back from the rod holder, but in front of the drink holder. That way I can reach it, but it it will sit below the surfuce of the left side. This is all great stuff, so thanks again for all of your help. I will talk with Karen for the swap of the the round base to the diamond base. I measured my kayak and yes the 2 7/8" round base will NOT fit in the tray anyway. Anyway, again how is the support from the diamond and what hardware did you use to install???? Thanks again!

I used a #10 bolt and nut w/nylon insert, stainless of course. Use a big enough washer before the nut.

Since you wont be putting a ton of pressure on it like a rod holder would it's plenty strong.

Heres a vid. Using the diamond mount also on a Outback. He uses a backing plate. If you wanted to make one you could easily from a cutting board. If not washers will suit just fine.
