"Tidal Wave Advisory" for WA and OR coasts.

Spawned by the Chilean quake. Due here on Westport/Grayland beaches at 2:57pm this afternoon (Sat.  2/27).

I hope it doesn't scare the razor clams deeper.

If the rain lets up by then, maybe I'll go down with a yardstick and see if I can measure it when it hits. Might be as high as 6 inches, but probably won't even be discernible to the naked eye.

OOPS! I was off a whole decimal point on my original post. Battery was dying in my weather radio and what I heard was garbled. Put in fresh batteries, and 

Latest estimate is for height of the wave arriving here is 0.78 feet, which is less than ten inches, but might produce a noticeable surge pushing up the beach.
I'm still going down to watch. Rain has quit, so I'll be digging razor clams later, I hope.

I sure hope the razor clams don't freak out and hide deep.
