During Yakchiks recuperation and recent birthday gift of the new Kokatat
t3 drysuit,I wanted to get her on the water for some easy fun. We were rigged for Kokanee and got to the lake at a leisurely pace. The wind was blowing good and are timing was bad. There was a skulling regatta(snobbish
term for competition)going on and the launch was unuseable. Plan B. Went to Lake Cassidy which is 2 mi from my house and paddled around and sortof
fished for bass. The few people out were all skunked and us too. It was just good to be out and see the smile on my partner's face wearing her new suit and hat and enjoying the pleasure of being on the water. ;D
